The aim of the puzzle is to enter a number from 1 to 9 into each of the empty cells of the grid. Each row, column, and 3x3 sub-grid must contain the numbers 1 to 9 once and once only.

A maths graduate from Beckenham has become the Asahi Pure Logic Sudoku Champion. His name is David McCrea and he impressively beat 100 contestants to win the title. The Suduko Chimp is impressed.

A Czech Woman clinched the first Suduko world championship. Jana Tylova, a 31-year-old the Czech Republic, came trough with an unexpected in Lucca, Tuscany.

NOTE

The Suduko Chimp is obviously a chimpanzee and so his spelling is not so good. So it is worth pointing out that the game's correctly spelt name is Sudoku and not Suduko as this erroneous primate calls it.
